The seven natural wonders in the world. The surveys have been conducted worldwide and the votes were collected through the website www.new7wonders.com based on an idea of the Suisse businessman Bernard Weber, founder of the company New Open World Corporation.

Among the natural wonders of the world are found the Amazon River, Komodo Island in Indonesia, the Island of Jeju in South Korea, the Iguazú Falls in Argentina, the Ha-Long Bay in Vietnam, the Table Mountain in South Africa, or the subterranean river Princess Port in the Philippines.

The seven natural wonders were elected by a panel of experts among more than 450 candidatures. The first filter reduced the number of wonders to 28 finalists and the official list of the last seven was made public last November the 11th.
