George Harrison. An Aston Martin DB5 that belonged to ex-Beatle George Harrison has been sold at an auction for more than 350,000 British Pounds (around 416,000 Euros- 542,000 U.S. Dollars) exceeding its estimated initial value of 200,000 British Pounds (268,000 Euros- 310,000 U.S. Dollars). The anonymous buyer is believed to be a Beatle's fan from Texas, the United States.

The auction was celebrated last week at Coys True Greats in London and the car in question was one of the most important pieces of the collection. The Aston Martin was designed in 1964 and bought by Harrison the following year, 1965. Harrison, who died in 2001 victim of a cancer, kept the car among his belonging until the moment of his death.
