Climate change blamed for shrinking many flora and fauna species

Climate changes shrink fauna and animal species.

Monday, January 9 2012

Climate changes. Global warming has been blamed for smaller animal and flora species (affecting species from polar bears to strawberries) as revealed for a new study where scientists argue that many species have shrunk with the pass of the years.

However, many other scientists do not agree with the results of this study affirming this phenomenon might just be part of the natural evolution of the species and climate change has nothing, or little, do to with the issue.

The conclusions of the study, which has been based on statistics on more than 85 different species, have been published in the online journal Nature Climate Change.
