Richard Gere. American actor Richard Gere has admitted that the movie “Pretty Woman” is the least favourite of the films in which he has participated.
The actor, worldwide known for his roles in movies like An Officer and a Gentleman, Chicago, Sommersby or Shall We Dance?, has declared that although the film was a success at the Box Offices around the world, he sees it just as a "silly romantic comedy”.
“Pretty Woman” was released in 1990 and soon the story of a rich and powerful businessman who falls in love with a prostitute of Los Angeles collected more than 463 million U.S. Dollars (345 million Euros) worldwide. The film also launched to fame to a new actress, Julia Roberts, who received the Golden Globe for Best Actress and a nomination to the Oscars.
