Google Chrome.- The social networking platform Facebook has deleted Google Chrome from its list of recommended search engines. Instead of Chrome, the social website now offers the service of the search engine Opera.

With this action, it is obvious that the battle against two of the computing giants, Google and Facebook, for the control of a largest share of the market and the online traffic is at its highest point.

Furthermore, this move confirms the rumours that the social platform is in negotiations to buy Opera in an attempt to expand its services, cut is dependency from Google and minimise the financial losses caused by its disastrous debut in the stock market.

So far, Facebook has already hired to some of the programmers responsible for Opera.
