Stolen car.- Robert Russell is a 66-year old American citizen who 42 years ago informed the police about the robbery of his much beloved car, a 1967 Austin-Healey.

Now, almost 42 years later, Mr. Russell found his car while searching on Internet, spotting it being sold on the online platform eBay.

The vintage model of Austin-Healey was stolen in 1970 but his proud owner never gave up and kept the identification number and title certificate.

Mr. Russell contacted the buyer, a dealer in Los Angeles-California, and explained the situation. The buyer assured that he bought the car to a man who affirmed that the car belonged to his family since 1970, the date when it was stolen.

Once the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office checked the title certificate, the car was returned to
Mr. Russell who is now living in the state of Texas.
