UEFA Championship.- Former footballer and current president of the UEFA Michel Platini has declared that the Executive Committee of the UEFA is considering the idea of celebrating next 2020 European Championship in different European countries.

Additionally, Platini affirms that the Committee is also delivering on the possibility of allowing the participation in the tournament of 24 instead of 16 countries.

However, the head of the UEFA assures that spreading the championship for the entire European continent is just an idea to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the competition and that now the UEFA executive committee is debating whether or not the organisation of the tournament will be possible in those conditions.

So far, next European Championship will be celebrated in France in the summer of 2016.
