John Malkovich.- American actor John Malkovich (“Dangerous Liaisons”, “Empire of the Sun”, “In the Line of Fire”, “Con Air”) has stepped into the shoes of one of the greatest lovers in history, Giacomo Cassanova in a theatre play in Santander, Northern Spain.

The famous actor has declared do not feel very comfortable stepping into the shoes of an historical character. However, Malkovich assures that he shares with Cassanova a great “fascination for women”.

The play, directed by Michael Sturminger, was represented only for one night in the course of the International Festival of Santander under the title of “The Giacomo Variations”.
